Worldnews
One thing
that is totally new to the world is that a dating lists has been found that
makes it possible to date your Bjärton built instrument. The list 1 covers all production between
1962-1977 and the list 2 covers 1985-1990. For dating outside these dates we
also have a reference list where you can compare your serialnumber and most
likely get the date for your instrument. Check it out in "Dating".
Publisher
of this site
This site is run by
a private person, that's me, a 40 years old musician who took the lead in
making this homesite possible. Along with me I have many people who are
helping me
out. Tyko Runesson has done a great work filling this web with usefull
material. Peter Lindahl has shared his knowledge and wisdom. Rickard at
Vintage guitars has given me some helpfull information on dating and
serialnumbers. All the people
at the "akustiskt gitarrforum" has been a source of knowledge and
inspiration.
About co-workers/volunteers
That is my hope that many people will share their knowledge and
contribue with everything about Bjärton. My mind is very open and I really
want to invite everyone who wants to work with this webpage, cause it's not
my webpage, it belongs to every single individual who has interesting and
endores the beutiful art of Bjärton instruments.
Feel free to post your pics, chat with others at the
Forum and
publish your questions
to us. If that's not enough, we have sources who can tell alot about the issues of Bjärton. So if
we don't know straight away, we can check it out. See the link
"contact" at the top.
Is this all?
This site is still under construction
and will be completed along the way. Of course our goal was to have a more
complete site but I felt the same time that the information about the new
dating list has to be published and shared to all of you who own a
Bjärton. We decided instead to built and complete this site along the
way.
Donations for running
this website are more than welcome!
Cheers!
